LEGO® City – a town you build yourself

LEGO® City is about the everyday world children recognise: the fire brigade rolls out with its ladder truck, a train pulls into the main station, a tipper unloads on the building site, and the rescue boat puts out from the coast. Not a fantasy world, but a town you can rebuild and keep playing in.

What you will find

Vehicles are the heart of it – from a police car costing a few euros to an airport with its passenger plane. The trains form a world of their own: express passenger train, harbour freight train with crane, a classic steam locomotive and the Arctic polar express, plus track, points and the matching station. For speed there are the Formula 1 sets with licensed race cars; for builders, the bulldozer, the concrete mixer and the tipper truck.

Which age

The sets are marked 4+ and 6+. The 4+ range uses pre-assembled parts and a sturdy starter brick so a first solo build succeeds. From 6 it is classic building – more pieces, more detail, longer builds.
