KYOSHO — founded 1963, in diecast since 1992
KYOSHO of Tokyo is one of Japan's oldest model makers: founded on 10 October 1963, known first for radio-controlled cars, and making diecast display models since 1992. The first 1:64 run was the Beads Collection of Nissan Skylines. The later Minicar Collection ran from 2004 to 2016 across 83 issues.
The KYOSHO Original line
What we stock is the KYOSHO Original line for Initial D: the Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86, the Mazda RX-7 and the Nissan Skyline GT-R BNR32. Every model sits on a blister card carrying the artwork of the series — with these pieces the packaging is part of the collectible, and unpacked they lose half the story.
