Why 1:64
A 1:64 model is about nine centimetres long. Twenty of them fit on one shelf – twenty models in 1:18 need a cabinet wall. That is what makes this scale the way into collecting, and for many the scale they stay with.
Brands
Mini GT and Tarmac Works stand for licensed road and race cars with rubber tyres and fine printing. Inno64 and Pop Race come from the JDM corner, Kaido House builds modified classics, TimeMicro and American Diorama add figures, workshop accessories and dioramas. Hot Wheels is here with its premium lines – same size, different price.
For newcomers and collectors
Getting started costs a few euros; there is no ceiling. If you want to complete a series, the brands for it are here; if you just want one car you like, that works too. Display cases, dioramas and accessories come in the same scale.
