The mighty Panzerkampfwagen E-100 is a mysterious German super-heavy tank prototype developed during the final stages of the Second World War. The vehicle was designed as part of the Entwicklungsserie program, aimed at developing a series of unique armored vehicles of various types. Work began in 1943, but was interrupted in 1944. The Henschel company attempted to continue work to a limited extent. It became possible to produce the hull on which, according to the 1943 plans, a modified Maus tank turret was to be mounted. Other modifications were also envisaged to allow the installation of even larger caliber guns. Captured by the Allies, the hull was sent to Great Britain for trials in 1945, before being scrapped. There is only modest photographic documentation and drawings of the E-100 tank. Because of its uniqueness and size, the PANZERKAMPFWAGEN E-100 was developed on a large 1:28 scale using 1,511 components and measures 37 cm in length. The model's large size made it possible to design the interior of the turret and vehicle. The model offers access to the service hatch, beneath which is a removable engine. Additional features include a rotating turret, mobile cannon, crew access to hatches and rolling tracks. The set also includes a very interesting figurine of a tanker with a print on the back.
