Battle of Trafalgar At the beginning of the 19th century, Europe was overshadowed by the power of Napoleon Bonaparte. His ambitions to conquer hegemony over the continent required breaking the resistance of Great Britain - a naval fortress whose fleet was undefeated. The key moment in this rivalry was the Battle of Trafalgar, fought off the coast of Spain on October 21, 1805. Admiral Horatio Nelson, a respected strategist and national hero, commanded the British fleet from the deck of HMS Victory, a ship-of-the-line built at Chatham Dockyard between 1759 and 1765. Nelson led his squadron against a combined Franco-Spanish force under the command of Admiral Pierre de Villeneuve. The battle ended in a complete victory for the Royal Navy: 19 enemy ships were captured, the rest destroyed or fled. However, the battle itself cost Admiral Nelson his life. He died of a gunshot wound during the battle and became a symbol of sacrifice and patriotism. This victory sealed Britain's naval supremacy for decades and ended Napoleon's plans to conquer the British Isles once and for all. Build HMS Victory brick by brick! With this set, you can recreate one of the most famous ships in history. HMS Victory not only played a key role in the Battle of Trafalgar, but is still a museum and symbol of British naval power today. This model not only looks impressive, but also tells a fascinating story from the Napoleonic Wars. The HMS VICTORY (Trafalgar 1805) is an excellent choice for anyone who appreciates precision, high-quality craftsmanship and the Napoleonic era. Build a model of this legendary ship, experience the spirit of one of the most important naval battles of the Napoleonic era and proudly display it in your collection.
